As an attorney with the firm of Voorhees, Knable, Pettler,
Miller & Freeman, Walt Hindenlang specializes in estate planning,
probate and business transactions, as well as providing mediation
services for disputes involving business, trust and probate
matters.
After becoming a member of the State Bar of California in 1978,
Walt worked for over 20 years in the aerospace/telecommunications
industry where he served as a corporate attorney, negotiated
and managed major contracts/subcontracts and held several senior
management positions. He has extensive hands-on experience in
negotiating complex commercial agreements and problem solving
in the high-tech industry. His management roles included serving
as Vice President, Operations for Hughes Global Services and
President of the Galaxy Institute for Education.
Since entering private practice, Walt has shifted the emphasis in
his practice to the areas of estate planning and probate matters.
He provides a wide range of services in this area, including drafting
trusts, wills and powers of attorney, representing clients in guardianship
and conservatorship petitions, handling probate admininistration matters
and providing support for business interests.
Walt received his JD degree from Loyola University Law School. He
also earned a BS degree in industrial engineering and an MBA from
the University of Southern California. He is a member of the Estate
Planning and Business Law sections of the California Bar Association,
the South Bay Bar Association, the L.A. County Bar Association and Rotary International.
